Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, “God with us.”

Matthew 1:23

The Christmas season represents so many things to so many people. Gifts, family gatherings, holidays and food come to mind. It is easy to forget during the Christmas season that 2,000 years ago, God Himself entered into the world. At a time in human history where there was great turmoil and darkness, divinity came as humanity… Jesus Christ.

He came as a gift, freely given so that all may freely receive. The answer to all of human emptiness was wrapped up in Jesus Christ… hope, joy, peace and new life.

As the world prepared to receive the greatest gift of all, the angel declared “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call his name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” (Matt 1:23). ‘Behold’ was a powerful exhortation to the world to stop and look. 2,000 years later, we live in an age where distractions abound, and yet this exhortation remains… ‘Behold’… look again. At Nations Church, it’s time to take another look at Christmas, for HE is what our Christmas is about.

Why don’t you join us this year as we behold again the true meaning of the season. See it once again as God intended for us to see it that first Christmas.

Behold… Jesus.
